Volunteers

Posada is blessed to have wonderful volunteers on staff. We would like to recognize:

  • Jessica Evig

Jessica recently moved here from Denver where she was an active volunteer at family shelters. We appreciate her experience and help in providing assistance and social support to the families at Elko.

  • Rose Romero

Rose is a 90 year-old lifetime resident of Pueblo and a long-time volunteer who has selflessly served the poor through her work with the soup kitchen, Posada, and the Cooperative Care Center. She worked with Posada before it was incorporated and now serves as a board member and helps with donations and cleaning. She also cares for the disabled in her neighborhood and frequently delivers donations to Centro de Los Pobres in Avondale. Rose teaches us all how to truly live a full life.

  • Joanna Adamich

Joanna has coordinated our Holiday Blessing Store since its inception 4 years ago.

  • Jan Sciortino

Jan tutored children at our Elko shelter last year, and has organized an employment clothing room here at Posada. She will also be helping with the Holiday Blessing Store this year.

  • Dr. Charlie Vial

Psychologist and Parkview - provides free trainings for Posada staff.
