We are providing an outlet for expression and self-discovery for our homeless clients (both children and adults) to improve self-esteem and emotional well-being during this transitional time in their lives, through art. Our clients are able to tell their stories in a creative way and to help those who have never experienced homelessness to relate to their journey and feelings. The project also gives our clients the opportunity to “pay it forward” by donating their artwork to Posada for fundraising activities to provide services and shelter to others in need in our community. All the artwork on this page has been donated by our clients!

We have collaborated with Kerstien Zabukovic at Legacy Bank, PCC's Fine Arts Department, and local artists such as Karen Wallace, Maria Westy Bush and Brian Palomar, and are looking for other partners to help us with event planning and projects such as sculpture, photography, painting, etc. that reflect our clients' journey, feelings and emotions through this difficult time. We are in need of the following:
- art supplies (tax deductible)
- donations of artwork by local artists (details)
- sponsors for the event (details)
- spots in local galleries to display pieces by homeless artists
